Kindergarten Explorers Go Bug Hunting
This week, our curious kiddos turned into junior entomologists as we wrapped up our exciting unit on insects! After learning all about the fascinating world of bugs, from butterflies and beetles to ants and grasshoppers, our students were ready to take their knowledge outside.
We headed to Veteran's Park for an insect scavenger hunt, where the children searched high and low for critters in their natural habitats. Equipped with magnifying glasses, bug checklists, and big smiles, our little explorers showed impressive teamwork and observation skills. It was amazing to see them identify different insects and excitedly share their discoveries with friends and teachers.
To celebrate their hard investigative work, the kids enjoyed free playtime on the playground, climbing, sliding, and having a blast with classmates on this sunny day!
Stay tuned for more adventures from our budding scientists!
